The above vid is from a series Alex and I secretly chopped up for his last tour on the Australian festival circuit (with some keen eye input from Chris and other FF associates). I think he played video sets a handful of time in the states and Europe too so if you saw him at one of those you might have caught it then. The Fully Fitted EP is still available at Turntable Lab in vinyl and digi format so grab it while you can: turntablelab vinyl
Stay tuned for more vids from the Fully Fitted vaults (including the much anticipated release of a certain DVD mixtape), or see some more live in person at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston on Friday. We'll be running a live video show all night!
Our homie from the left coast, (thee) Mike B came through big time with a super fresh Live @ Home take. Mike dropped the mother load of dancehall/ reggae chunes for us, which I think might be the first of its kind in the Live @ Home series. Here are words from the man himself to talk about dis ting...
Blurb: Though this mix is called "Live At Home" it should really be called "Live At Steve 1Der's Home." My turntables aren't set up right now so he was kind enough to let me come over and record this. I tried my best to make this mix as ticey as possible. I could go in to whole spiel about why this mix is all reggae, but that seems a bit aburrido, right? Mike B say him love you. Seen

Going for back to back two shots in effort to catch up and beat the onslaught on SXSW rap up posts sure to come later from super famous Fully Fitted fam. Straight classic this week with the Truth and Right riddim. You'll know it from the Richie Spice anthem, thought folks might not have the original or the modern instrumental. See below:
Damn is it Wednesday already? I forgot to post the two shot from last week's Mofo Radio. Grabbed a couple of re-released Sugar Minott dubs from the above pictured CD. Check out the Informer dub (Informout) and Genuine Lover dubs below:
Was kinda in the dub mood having discovered entire threads of videos on youtube from people making their own dubs at home with big consoles and outboard effects. It's a little Ras Trenty but still kinda cool. These guys look like they're having a blast anyway:
Back on the air tonight another two shot some time after that.
We've gotten some requests for these tracks off out fabric live cd. not much "editing" going on here just rapping mostly. this is one of my favorite pase raps ever. check out how he fucks up at around 3:14 then saves it. soooooo dope.
This one is just in fromASilentFlute. This guy has been blogging about cool shit since way before i had a Laptop. Do your self a favor and go for a long walk or subway ride to this one...
"This is a score. The majority of scenes take place in Hell's Kitchen in the late '80s. A few scenes are set in the Trini populated area of Brooklyn. Scenes include driving around in a 1986 Saab, taking the G train, visiting porno stores and theaters. One character is French. A guy and a girl. Heavy dialog. They do drugs and space out. There are many shots of neon lights and people walking down the avenues. One scene involves a hand gun. In the movie the characters talk often of Duran Duran and Nile Rodgers, but their music does not appear in the score. There are also a couple sex scenes and the characters often order 'zombies' at the bars they visit. They walk across the Manhattan bridge. Subtitled. Mixed in one take."
Sup with the two shot lately? Admittedly I took a week or two off from posting them and then a few weeks off from the radio show all together. I played a few reggae tunes (one cover, one original) in last week's program round the 11 o'clock hour so I'll go ahead and post em up here. Should we kick this back into weekly gear? Comments appreciated, and grab these familiars below!
Some people have been asking for blends from a few of the mixes we've done in the past. I'm not big into making blends or mash-ups but ....Heeeeere we go :
