D&D&M&K and...

Basically, my lack of updates to the blog have been due to touring with Amanda "Trampy Grandma" Blank for the past four and a half months. So far, we've been on the road with Santigold, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Matt & Kim (presently) and Peaches in November. Here are my most recent phone photos from the current Matt & Kim tour.

Matt and Kim @ Triple Rock Social Club (Minneapolis, MN)

The Tour Whip! Yea... Its the same shitty ass van, tour in & tour out.

Did a show in Visalia, CA at a pizza parlor...

Check out the salad bar sound booth!

While in Boise, ID @ the Neurolux, we met this guy...

He ended up having an ape shit amount of scorpions under his hat!

The Idaho set list (with Matt & Kim creeper hand)

When did they stop allowing guns in Denny's?

Whats gayer then a rainbow? Two rainbows... at the same time!

Scenic drives are nice, but really... Fuck Nature!

I still have a gang of Lomo photographs waiting to be scanned from the Santi tour, so when those finally get finished.... I'll post a little something special for all you creeps.

Love,
Hot Boy Ronald

IntrOductionS

Whilst on the road with Amanda Blank, Darko and I have been doing a short 15 min. DJ set at the start of the show. We usually play uptempo stuff and songs/work from the annals of the FullyFitted unreleased catalogue...(Last night, in Minneapolis, we played a song off Sign O' The Times and a song off Contraversey and some Matt&KIm fans actually got it!)

I cant give any of the FF shit away sooooo here are 2 of the intro songs we have been working with. (all loops and delay aside)

DARKO:

Medely, Rocken Mit Engard, Something Else, Weekend, Twenty Flight Rock - GuruGuru

DEVLIN:

DejenmeDormir - Limonada

Mas para venir

Amanda Blank (aka: Goth Queen of the new Scientology) debut album out today....

Buy the Record, Mp3, or CD..........Here, There, Anywhere!

New Single, Guess WHO???

We been around the world and ay,yai,ya playing this tune behind AB. It's the jam. I gotta say though...it sounds like it's missing something without Rotten Ronnie Darko's scratch solo in the last breakdown.

Put the needle on the record when the drum beat go like...

Fully Fitted Renegade Soundsystem

So when the gang came through Texas on the Santi tour de greater America, they realized that the tour van had power.... renegade power.

I rented a soundsystem and brought a box of 45s, and this is what happened.

Devlin went ahead and recorded the whole thing for your listening pleasure. Thanks to Daily Juice for allowing us to wreck shop and have many free juices.

Amanda Blank Video from post-apocolyptic SXSW location

Tour is done for 3 days, wooo-hoo! Goddamn it was too much fun....Tour video part 2 coming soon....

This link was in my inbox today (thanks E!)....Its from a wierd "video" they shot of us in March during SXSW.. Pretty cool little live performace video thing i guess.

The song is "Make it Take it" credits go to Amanda, Tyler Pope, XXXchange and Santi White (I think thats all, Alex?)
Moustache credits go to Burlesque of North America.

TONITE AFTER THE SHOW IN ... DC

Tour Pics?

While Chris has been taking tour video of creepers and thirsty people (inside joke), I've been taking O.G. 120 film photos with a Diana F+ camera. Its going to take a while before they can be developed, but I'm hoping that they'll turn out more artistic and vastly more interesting then regular, bum ass digital photos.

San Francisco, Sacramento, Oregon, Washington, Vancouver, Minneapolis, Iowa, Baltimore and Boston are all in the bag. We're currently in the Tour Van headed up to Toronto and Montreal, hoping that Chris' past criminal activity as a youth doesn't hold us up for another two hours at the Canadian border... AGAIN!

"No officer, there are no drugs in the vehicle... we already ate them all"

Amanda Blank support for Santigold tour: Road Video Part 1

...Reporting live from comfort Inn outside Bozeman, Montana. Ron, Amanda, and I (along with TM Rachelle) have been up the West Coast, into Canada, and are headed for MInneapolis. This is a video of the road so far...

This is my first iMovie try, so its not the best, but was real fun to make. Need to download the new one with the time editing function to make the next one.

Update: Audiotistic Festival

D&D went out to San Bernardino, California last Saturday, backing Ms. Blank at the Audiotistic festival thang thang. We were originally scheduled to be on the Hip-Hop stage, but we managed to find a spot at the more appropriate Electro: Citrus Building w/ DJ Funk, Floss & Chromeo. The kiddies were out in full effect and decked out in the most mind boggling, non-parent approving outfits ever. All in all, everything turned out great and we're really excited for this upcoming Amanda Blank & Santigold tour. And... I finally got to meet Z-Trip, thanks to Thee Mike B!
